Melissa, yes, I am back. Back on here, too, I hope. Much to say, just no time to say it.

I have never heard of neck subluxations but it sounds very painful. Unfortunately, each decade will arrive with an extra little bonus. Lots of people are doing modified yoga, which, I'm afraid, doesn't burn off packets of chocolate, but does make you feel better. Maybe that would help?

And as far as the sugar and chocolate problem, I way, way ahead of you. And far too old to be eating sugar like this. Jazzercise is great, but not a miracle cure.

You really are back. Well done you! Any exercise is fine. It doesn't have to be trendy for it to work now does it? Jazzercise sounds nice.
I have a love hate relationship with exercise. I would like to be the kind of person who can go for a jog and burn off last night's family size pack of chocolate. Sadly though, my thirties came with a bonus health issue – neck subluxations that cause disorientation [imagine feeling dizzy and drunk, without the fun aspect of being drunk]. I've taught myself to manage it, which means no running or cycling like a lunatic running away from an angry bear. Consequently I will not be burning off said family size chocolate.

I was surprised at how many people were still there, and then, not surprised. You are a lifelong Jazzerciser, like being a scout. It was old home week the first few days!

You're right, Elizabeth, which is why I try to walk in the morning (the best time) but this summer I couldn't do it. Now I put on my clothes and get out the door because I have someplace to be! Noticeable lift in my mood!

I agree with Elizabeth. I'm delighted for you that you are making this investment in yourself. So happy you felt at home and were welcomed so warmly to Jazzercise.
