Yes, we don’t write tributes unless there’s a bad ending. I actually wrote one five months before Persnickety left us because I knew it was coming.

It’s amazing how these animals comes into our lives and change them in ways we can’t imagine. Yeah, that boy was one of a kind.

Winchester was usually quiet when you came over and I actually forget he was asleep in a chair in the next room or whatever. He wouldn’t have minded being moved. Though he *did* like for people to comment on his remarkable size, his whiskers, his big clown-shoe feet . . . don’t think cats aren’t as vain as people, they are.
